There is an old adage, 'Better the Devil you know'.
Assuming that there was no UKIP and Cameron went, the gov looses an election who would you then want in charge?

Happy daze John in Oz.

Camerons Replacement.
I see they have got the neck to now be talking about awarding themselves a pay rise of £20,000.

Re: Camerons Replacement.
I see with the recent VNC by William Hague, the TV news in WA is describing the Cabinet Reshuffle as Camerons Male Pale and Stale Cabinet Reshuffle. Didnt W. Hague sign up for the completion of his tour of duty of 3 years or whatever it is. If he did he is breaking a contract and should be liable to a lot of his salary being returned to the Treasurers coffers along with all the other citizens income tax contributions. He should at the least have VNC stamped in his book, and if he kicks up maybe a double DR. instead. His seatime has been very short and his contribution to the ship as a whole not a hundred per cent satisfactory. I think Brian Kong should seriously think on these things when writing out his reference. If he hopes to get a job in the yellow perils, I think they should be warned also of his lack of fortitude and buckling under the slightest of pressures. Not good seagoing material by any means. Cheers John S

No chance of him being accepted on a yellow peril, had to be a good seaman and hardworker on those, and all mates had to be good navigators (certificated or not) conning an eight knot vessel in 3 - 4 knot tides with a foot (and less) under your keel at times, had to know about squat even on one of those; no room for vague hagues and with his knowledge of geography vessel would always end up in the wrong port.

Re: Camerons Replacement.
Ah, but according to Brian he has experience within the beer haulage brewery business, in which case he might have put the nose bag on a horse after putting on his own first, of course. Might stand a chance of a job on the horse drawn barges on some of the canals. The suez preferably if they used them. He is always smart in appearance and his hair is always impeccable. He might have to bite his fingernails a bit and run his hands through a basin of soil so as to appear as he has worked at some time in his life. However he will have to learn to talk to normal people which may go against the grain, as was probably taught at an early age to beware the commoners. We look forward to watching his future career from a distance, especially if he only gets to work with mules. JS
