Hi cappy looks like you got screwed by a corrupt tribunal as the guy you replaced should have informed you of his holiday and made arrangement's with you before he went (the places i went to and could have done that hey let the ship sail im on holiday )
I have also been happy at work in a couple of places had a laugh and drink after work with management and owners not all of them are greedy and corrupt but a vast majority are the bigger the business the worse it is
2 mill to create jobs would buying a beach house half way round the world in some warm climate with a small boat taking tourists on days out and fishing trips count as creating jobs set a budget for first 2 or 3 years yourself and 1 crewman maybe get 2 boats and employ 3 people 4 if you get a local mechanic to give the engines a check over (if i had the cash its what i would do a sort of working retirement or paid hobby )would not worry to much about profits as long as it covered my running costs and i could go out for a meal and a beer sometime
What a lot of people don't realize these days is you don't need loads of money a big mansion and 10 cars in the garage to be happy as long as you have a few good friends and can pay the bills and most important get out to spend time with your friends even if its only bring a few beers we are having a bbq this weekend
The world has changed from the days we made our own fun and with that people have forgotten how to have fun for free it wont be long till meeting for a bbq will mean everyone stays at home and connects with friends on a big screen tv rigged through a web cam having ten separate barbies in the same town some even on the same street but just to far to travel

If you could ?????
Cappy dont try and be so condescending with me,seems to me you were brought up working class climbed the greasy pole and now you think everybody is stupid.Capitalism is the Curse of the Working Class and this is what you seem to now thrive on.You are so clever and you blame me for ripping people off.Answer me this, when I was involved in consumer credit I lent a customer £1.00 I charged that customer one shilling,I gave the collector 1/7d (one shilling and seven pence) to collect that one pound one shilling from the customer. That left me with 19/5p(nineteen shillings and five pence) so i was loosing seven pence on the deal.So you as a Director and Mill Owner you must be a clever man tell me how I made a profit. And as you say I had tobe paid, the Asst ,Managers and Cerks had to be paid, stationary rent and everything else and we were running at seven pence in the pound loss.JimBrady,Merchant Navy,Barman,Money Lender VD and Scar.

Having had a little involvement in consume credit , by the time you have paid Equifax for searches , bank charges , and suffered bad debts I do not blame these people for charging 1000% interest , You need that to get a margin at all . There are some who just don't care , wont pay , and by the time you have added to the list of County Court Judgements , they really don't bother about debt . The good payers , the honest people don't want or need these marginal loans , If you are struggling , and you cannot manage go to the Citizens advice bureau and sort it out . the ones who take these loans are often ( Not all , just a few ) those who belong to the I must have it now brigade , So pay day loans , well I think they are temptation for the greedy . A lot of these loans , are for a couple of hundred , so the debtor can go out with their mates on a Friday . These guys don't read the small print , they play with the sliders to get the Wonga from those nice little old ladies .

if you could.
Rob,the amount of people out there trying to rip off the lender is unbelievable. When the company I was with went into Personal Loans as against shopping checks and household goods finance I became a bank manager and I took it upon myself to interview every applicant.I insisted that they brought into the office a couple of weeks pay slips to prove that they were working and could afford the weekly payments.I gave one guy quite a bit of money and there was no problem his payments were there every week without fail.It went bump and I wanted to know why,he had never worked and the pay slips he produced were made up by his daughter who worked in a wages dept.in some company. What happened was he was working on the side and in reciept of benefits and earning good money,he had a row with his neighbour and his neighbour threatened him that if he ever left the house again to go to work he would blow him up to the DSS. I had to write off quite a bit of money. Many people take on credit, to some its the only way to buy new furniture etc and as long as people are sensible about it its a two way deal between the lender and the borrower.

It was unbelievable Jim, until got involved with a small company , Payslips produced by Photoshop , rent books falsified , Midnight runners who had stuff from the different companies and did a runner . I would suggest that an honest man in the populous is rare . Then when you run up debts of £30,000 or £40,000 the car you own is the wife's , the debts are not payable and the IVA gives the provider 10 pence in the £ , that costs 15p to collect each weeks , THE IVA administrator getting a bigger share than the lenders , and after five years they are free to do it again . The £2.000.000 well you might as well put it on b;lack or red at the casino .
