    Default going away for xmas

Ijust loved reading the posts about xmas .I sympathise with you Tony but xmas being xmas we have to put up with a lot if i was you get a Mcdonalds family pack a few bottles of wine and a bottle of scotch and say a Merry christmas after you have drunk all thev wine .
When i look back over the years and think about all thegood times i have had at Christmas time with my wife and kids it makes me feel how lucky i was to do these things .
Even now i look forward to see some of my family and grand kids

Default Xmas is back in favour(ish!)

Funnily enough Lou I have got a little of the Xmas spirit back. I got a call from the local paper yesterday telling me that I am one of five who have won a competition for our daughter's rolls as carers for a parent. The prize is complementary tickets to the local pantomime for me and my daughter (wife is too sick to go). There will be a photo shoot with the stars after plus we have a photographer coming later today to get all three of us in a shot for the paper this week. Lorraine Chase is the main star, she of Luton Airport fame all those years ago! To be honest I thought she died of cancer years ago (probably better not mention that on the day). As you can imagine my daughter is over the moon which after-all is the main thing. It'll certainly make up for some of the things we won't be able to do this year, like visit relatives in Sussex. As my wife can't go I have arranged for her to have a pampering session of getting her nails done plus a reflexology trial on her feet. That way at least I know she has someone with her. All heart me, aren't I?

    Cool Holiday

    Hi Clancy.
I hope that you enjoyed your stay at Benidorm, although We havent been there
for a few years, its still one of my favourite places to hoiday at.We didnt get away
this Xmas, but have started to look for somewhere to go in the next 5/6 weeks. Our
last five holidays have been to Icmeler in Turkey,we found a small family owned hotel
and get to be made like one of the family,no matter where we go,no walking,no taxies,
they just get out the care, take us and wont take payment, which saves quite a lot of
    money.Will speak to you soon.
    Dave Williams.
PS......Do you still have the whip !!!!!!!!!
