Who is this Morrisseyis , I have certainly never heard of him, where is he from? is he British? I dont know, so he is some kind of nonentity.
He is in New Zealand so I guess he is right in the heart of things,, especially medical problems of pregnant ladies.
Has he had medical training in pregnancies. ?? Has he done a Midwifery Course?? I have.
If not, the idiot should keep his pig ignorant gob shut.
Why do papers have to publish complete rubbish for people to buy. I have never bought a newspaper for about 20 years now.

John,
The importance of her a woman about to commit suicide leaving her 3 immediate family a note. Is very important. It show,s that she was in control of her senses and did not have any mental health problems as has been suggested, Most suicides are carried out on impulse when there are other issues such as mental health or terminal disease. i don't agree this appears to have been a very close and private family the only way the contents will come out is if the coroner releases them to the media. I would expect a statement simply saying there is no other issues to be taken into consideration other than lessons must be learnt by this tragic case. Seems to me the world and his son have a hell of a lot of leaning to endure Regards Terry.

Read a bit in the paper today, apparently she hanged herself, that takes a bit of doing. Being a nurse she would have had access to drugs that could have done the job.
As to the press, we have to be careful how we handle this. All the calls for banning some of them, that is an attack on freedom of speech and a dangerous path to take. I belive Hitler tried some of that and look what happened there.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Have to agree with you John, but some of the media are pushing beyond there remit. Why can't they just exercise a bit more common sence, and get the public off there case.

Tragic?
Hi shipmates, Why would a well educated nurse commit suicide over a stupid phone call? I dont understand this one? my sister was a S.R.N many years ago and they are taught to deal with death and disease on a daily basics' !!!! A phone call is a every day event , prank calls and offensive phone calls like this happen every day to the medical profession in the U.K. Sorry but something is not right about this.

For Louis
Hi Louis. From what I have read it is possible that it was to do with some kind of Indian cultural thing where it is taboo to be seen to lose face amongst your peers. The hospital indicated, however, that there was never any intention to make a disciplinary issue out of this although I believe she was spoken to, off the record, by a senior nurse. Another snippet that I picked up on was that when a Royal or VIP is in the hospital protocol dictates that all calls go via the police officer on guard outside the room concerned. They are never via the switchboard. I am merely passing on information that i have come across and am not commenting on the rights or wrongs of the case concerned.
