my neice insists on saying something is WELL GOOD, not just good, she was never taught to say that, and her brothers and sisters do not say it, a friend i know in london is now talking like a west indian, does not say the word in english, example thief, ! to him it has become TEEF ! And finishes with ENNIT after every sentance,

There is a double glazing adverts that I occasionally notice that really irritates me. I think it is a national company and I can't think for the life of me why it is allowed.
I seem to recall a cartoon bird called ' Tivvy' ( TV times...........in colour) that was withdrawn in the early 70s because it was deemed to be suggestive.
Tivvy was mild compared to the Double glazing joker.
