Ivan, This has become a bit of a mystery now you are correct one is the Corinthian, On the right its the SS City of Marseilles, The one in the background I am going for the City of Leeds ??????? But I cant see 2 Sampson posts just forward of her forepart.

first ship after vindy corinthian a full mod cargo amo stores land rovers on deck famagusta the army lads did the unloading the custodian had a load of history in the war it was an ocean recovery vessel picked up survivors was famous for saving over 300 from a pasenger ship had a big steam piston engine i loved going in the engine room just to watch it the Bosun used to say you been down there again you should have signed on as engine man not a deck boy also did 4 trips on the Egyptian 6 week trips 10 days at home down the medi good ship 1958 and 59

first trip cragmoor runcimans ....down to Dagenham loaded jaguar sports cars xk 150 for los angeles and frisco ....2dollars 80 to the pound got wrangler jeans and black jerkin with los angeles across theback .....I was a king .....upto Canada ....timber for oz......pitcairn......Sydney ...Melbourne Adelaide........grain to south Africa ...capetoun.......Durban .....port Elizabeth ......lorenco marks ........iron ore to Liverpool .......9 months.....didn't want to go home ......stayed in liver pool pulled a judy .....stayed in a mission 3 or 4 days.....then to shields.......a king....57 58
