When having polyps removed I was asked if I wanted to watch TV, aye fair enough !!! well not a lot different from watching GB news just a load of tish. It was interesting though not many get a view of their inner sanctum.

...I don't suppose you.re talking about the 'Kremlin' inner sanctum of the hard left Labour MP's on Blackfriars Road,James?

Yes,I too have endured several of those colonoscopies.I decline watching the TV of the procedure when it(the TV) is shoved in my face when I'm lying on my side, knees bent upwards, 'on the table'.I remember being a bit nervous when I watched Journey to the Centre of the Earth many moons ago,I'm rather a wuss I'm afraid.
And prior to my very first procedure I couldn't get out of my head a vision of a Nikon Coolpix DSLR complete with flash unit being stuffied up my friend Jaxie.....
    Oh,what a relief when it wasn't!
Don't have nightmares, anyone who's dreading it.You get a cup of tea and a Bourbon ,or two, depending on your local NHS funding, afterwards.

After having Radiation treatment for Prostate Cancer I had a colonoscopy to check if a new stuff I had been given for burning in the stomach worked, the Professor asked me if I wanted to watch, to right I did, now I can say I have seen the inside and out.
