    Default Aukus

Well some may be happy but not all. Thing is can America no longer be trusted under the current administration.

    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world...e6caf862&ei=39

Australia & UK can deliver nuke boats I would imagine a dam sight cheaper.

Poland have decided not to order American Hellicoptersduring a defence review.

If you have a few quid to spare buy shares in a Drone company , works out a lot cheaper and certainly seems to work ask the Russians

It was our previous PM Morrison who stuffed it all up. We where supposed to get our subs from France but the stipulation was that they where to have diesel engines. This made the dearer because they would have to take out the nuclear ones to replace them with diesel. So to make his election chances better Morrison canned the deal at great cost to then go with AUKUS. Now if he had stuck with the French it turns out that their nuclear subs are powered with low grade uranium where these other ones are powered with weapons grade uranium which is harder to dispose of when depleted. Just goes to show that politicians only think as far ahead as the next election. Another point that Paul Keating (ex PM) said is that the waters around Australia are to shallow for these subs to operate. Why the feck do we pander to all these idiots that are in charge. It seems that if there is to be another world war that it is to delay for at least a decade so that everyone can prepare the way that they are going about it. Lets face it in about a decades time all these will be obsolete anyway before they even get launched.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

    Les it is simple.
Big story now about Artificial Intelligence, fact is it has been around for years.
The majority of govs around the world have used it so much they think it normal.

Then the soi called advisers who are said to be experts.
Well it is like this, an expert, an ex is a has been and a spurt is a drip under pressure.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

John in this day and age I suppose an expert is someone who has a degree, never had a job in their young lives.

To me an expert is someone who is well read and entering the Autumn of their time on earth and went through the University of Life.

Yesterday was a sad day when that India Air flight crashed,241 people perished.
Then we get all the so called aviation experts, having watched the video footage it is obviously pilot error ffs!!!I wonder did the so called expert work for Boeing.
Then so other gobshite tells us the viewer the Boeing Dreamliner has an excellent safety record.
That class of plane the 787 Dreamliner has a history of engine problems dating back to when it was built, but it also had several issues with the Lithium battery packs going on fire. The USA grounded the Dreamliner for over 2 years, there we go again Lithium Batteries!!!!
The only survivior says the plane took off and about 10 /15 seconds the cabin lights flickered and then failed next thing bang. A lucky guy.
Why not wait on thre black box being recovered.
The Indians seemed to move heavy plant into the area very quickly!!! normaly it is days if not weeks before the wreckage is removed so the EXPERTS can determine a likely cause. Maybe another Lockerbie ? only a week or so since India and Pakistan were squaring up to each other, Odd that the airport just happens to be in same city as Shri Narendra Modi indian PM comes from.

Aviation expert here having viewed the incident said the following.

Not fully trained pilots on some aircraft.

In this instance landing gear up very late and flaps gone.
Suggested wrong lever used, so flaps up when it should have been landing gear up.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Over the past few months the Dreamliner aircraft have been involved in numerous incidents.
Gear failure, flaps, loss of cabin pressure etc.
The aircraft involved in the incident was detained at Birmingham Airport, December last year due to an hydraulic leak in the nose wheel landing gear.

Michael O'Leary boss of Ryanair is reported in Mail on Sunday as stating that when Boeing Jets are delivered to his base in Dublin "engineers spend 48 hours giving the planes a once over". His staff have found all sorts of debris under the floors of the planes.

Vic maybe they are finding the famaous Ryanair scratch cards? For all we moan about Ryanair touch wood so far they seem to have a good safety record , They have (610) aircraft mostly Boeing 737/738 aircraft with around about 100+ A320 airbus planes .

Looking at reported problems expierenced with in service aircarft one thing seems to crop up, Trouble with flap operation.

    Not exactly reassuring is it.

    Old joke,
Paddy is excited as this is his first flight.
Okay sit back and relax our flight today to New York will be 7 hrs 25 mins.

Captain to cabin , just an update on our progress we will be 30 minutes late arriving in New York as we had a problem with Number 1 engine, not to worry folks as the aircraft has these niggles factored in so we will proceed on 3 engines, nothing to worry about.

Captain to Cabin , sorry folks a further delay as we have had an engine fault on number 2 engine so are timed arrival will be 3 hours later than scheduled.

Paddy says to the fella sitting next to him, if we lose anymore engines we will be up here all fecken day!!!
