There was a disaster but not in Queensland. Two Army trucks turned over on a road in Northern N.S.W. over thirty taken to hospital, some in a serious condition, they where on the way to help in the floods in Lismore.

In the latest news, all the soldiers are doing OK, One truck rolled over three times, but all where wearing seat belts.
Looks like the worst of the storm is over , Northern NSW where lucky didn't get the floods expected.
The only other bit of news is the sweeping victory of the Labout Party in West Aus, hope john S is not still celebrating LoL

Sadly there have been a couple of deaths.

But the ABC are playing it for all it is worth.
Since last Wednesday the mid day news was only about the cyclone.

Considering some 300,000 houses in Queensland have no power I find it a bit pointless amazing such broadcasts.

But the journalists not to be out done when the cyclone became just a tropical storm now refer to Ex Cyclone Alfred.

But Coocy got home safe in WA I read.

The amount of advertising before the event was hard to believe , if he hadn’t got in the other party would have being paying off the debt for their term or turn in office for their 4 years or whatever it is. I always thought every party had to have equal time on telly extolling how ignorant and learners their opponents were ? It certainly didn’t matchup to equal telly time that I saw. However there you go see one election you’ve seen them all. I sent my postal vote in , if it didn’t get there in time was their fault for not getting it to me sooner. JS

Interesting to see Albo promising troops he doesn't have to Ukraine, while Dutton said it's not our fight it is up to Europe.

Mid stream through an important news item they will suddenly cross to see some two bit labor guy spouting off about some form of crap.

#18; That would like being have explained to them a similar sounding term John and a navigational term the
“ Equation of Time” , which is the difference in time of the true or apparent sun and the position of the mean sun. Which is usually in the 5 minutes region. However the time difference between the different party’s seemed much longer than this. Cheers JS.

If you cast your mind back to when Tony Abbot was leader you might recall that he made it clear that no Liberals where to appear on the ABC. That still seems to be the case though a few are starting to do it. How many times does the ABC state after having the PM on one of its shows, that it has requested the Liberal leader and has got no response. Not saying that they might be bias but fair suck of the left tit mate. If Dutton keeps refusing to appear on the ABC then how can he then declare that they are bias or does he want them to stop political shows going to air.
