Why is it the UK news seem to be fixated on the weather in the USA/Florida. While I feel for those who have lost their lives and or their homes what really has it to do with us here in the UK. We have enough going on with our own problems caused by shitty weather. I wonder if the USA are being bombarded 24/7 in every news bulletin about UK weather, doubt if we ever get a mention.
Just say one thing have American builders never read the childrens story 3 little pigs, I will huff and I will puff and blow your house down.

So are we Rodney, but being a royalist I can live with that. Sadly we are being bombarded with the US Presidential election. We all know how that will pan lIf Trump loses he will never accept the result. Unfortunately USA sneezes and certainly here in the UK we catch a cold.

At times it is hard to understand exactly what is occurring.
Depending on which news service you use will depend on the news.
Shock ad awe is what they want, may not be fully true but if it sells copy then they have achieved what they set out to do.

UK media and press it is all down to who pays the wages as to what they say. Me personally, the paper that gets closest to the truth is the Guardian.
Daily Mail , Telegraph, Express, The Sun which really is a comic along with the Mirror just junk reporting to the pay masters tune.

Been watching the latest news on Ukraine.
Old Trump and Putin have hit it off by the look of it. Looks like they'll divide the world up between them. Trump will maybe let Putin start collecting countries, then Trump might sell loads of arms to them to defend themselves.

This talk about people in high places , does it never remind one of our sometimes scruffy younger years ?. Where most boys with the urge to be someone used to make themselves a gang leader and accosted various members of his age group with the words “ Do you want to join my Gang ?”. That’s what various members of political groups remind me of today. Mainly people who have never advanced in intellect and still want power over others.i won’t go into real depth of what these gangs were into apart from forming secret smoking society’s or making themselves an odd batch of illicit whisky from potato peelings., or peeping through keyholes into the girls changing rooms. Today however they are more vicious due to lack of a proper rearing, hence todays politicians backgrounds and pedigrees , however I suppose on the other side of the coin were the youth disciplines like the Boy Scouts and Boys Brigade who taught a little discipline and how to escort old ladies over busy intersections.Todays world has billions of people mostly of different morals and beliefs all with different pedigrees to choose our politicians from if we have that choice, if we do have then we should choose wisely which and whose gang we join.JS…..
