Re: sas amandla x sir john ross
the sa amandla x john ross has been renamed iconic 9 - and will shortly pass into history - this very adapt few lines describe her farewell - it was normally sung when the all blacks had finished their final game of rugby - which is quite ironic - ( ! ) as we play them in the rugby world cup final on saturday - the final 2 words me goodbye

Re: sas amandla x sir john ross
ref. the Iconic-09 looks like the design of a person who knew little about ships that after control bridge will be where the big winches and all the ships navigation was run from and by the looks of it entailed a 50 metre dash from the real bridge when the ship was working on different jobs. Was only on one vessel like it ,but not up to certain requirements.maybe best to extinguish. As most offshore work was working on getting the vessels stern into the rig was a pain in the ass. JS
