Put this in another post by mistake John. they should put a little thought in to cutting back on the expense Give him a golf driver in place of a driver , in place of a car an invalid carriage, and a fox terrier as a bodyguard . JS.......

Yes DEs, most MP will get about $10 to $15 more per year as a result of this.
The only fair bit is that tax for all will be at some 30%
But here in Victoria we have an MP who does not hold a driving license, never learned to dive.
But gets some $20,000 per year car allowance.
Plus all MP get a free bus and train pass.
Problem with that is it allows them to travel and some travel to where we live.
Ugly looking bunch as well.
