good morning, its no surprise to me, But what does surprise me is how we are all sleep walking into the future that is planned out for us by the globalist agenda that most of our goverments are following whether they are from the left or the centre right and the natos chief of staff stoltenberg is one of those pushing for it.

The £ flying high? It is only recovering because the Bank of England pumped £65 billion into buying UK government bonds last Friday. He has done a U turn on the 45% tax rates but has said that £18 billion will be cut from the public services budgets. So less money for health & schools. Ah well that will not really bother the well off who have private health care or send their children to private schools. It will really make Mr & Mrs Average want to to vote Tory next time round, doubt it will though.

Why is your power so expensive when it comes from renewable sources??

Yes we have also been told here in Oz we will get it by the bucket full at cheap prices!!

Well each wind turbine here in Oz costs about $10 million to build and install.
Then the cost of blade replacement when they wear as they do.'
Rent paid to land owners who's land they are on.'
Cost of replacing the grid as current one was not made for such use, I could go on but there are some of the costs.
The turbines are made and sold by a business who wants to make a profit, and so that goes.
So any one who thinks cheap power will come from such is a bit naive maybe.

And if the UK gov does many more U turns some will think they are all ex UCL crew,

The 659MW Walney Extension offshore wind farm is the world’s biggest operational offshore wind farm to date. It is located in the Irish Sea, approximately 19km away from Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, UK. Developed in two phases, the wind farm is owned by Orsted (50%) and Danish pension funds PFA (25%) and PKA (25%)

Orsted is basically Danish owned and operated.

I would imagine that the cost of wind powered energy will follow the market trend, when LNG prices increase so will the cost of renewables, it is a business after all.

Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) is owned by 23.66% institutional shareholders and by 55.10% insiders. The rest is owned by the public.

It would appear that most of the Wind generation industries in the UK are foreign owned. Yet another great idea allowed to happen by Governments down the years.

One interesting fact is that 40% of all wind generated over Europe blows over from the UK. Now why does that not surprise me. A lot of it must be generated in Westminster the amount of rubbish generated from that place over the last number of years, lately it has increased in intensity , ask the Chancer/Chancellor who is a dead man walking.

The price of electricity is fixed by Offgen and is tied to the price of gas.
So as the price per kwh of electricity rises so does the price of electricity generated by the wind farms. Wind farms are making vast profits off of the rise in gas.
