Re: the mini budget up-date
His personal wealth may some way go to putting the budget back on track ? After all he accumalated most of it through his association with his political life , His gong I can only assume the Queens Great age and possible senility was used together with his cronies in power enabled him to achieve , there is no honour among thieves. Was there ever any printed media news at the over 1 million petitions that went in to prevent. Or was it an oversight by his other cronies in our supposedly free press ? Politics give me a headache and not particularly enamoured with any of them . The only thing Nautical I can match them up with is a 4 cylinder Doxford being kept in the critical revolutions situation , and amongst all the subsequent vibration people cheering them on. JS

Hi John.
I don't know which one of you has the highest decoration, but I hope you are a lot more handsome than this Evil looking git. My wife reckons he is the Devil that roams the earth.

Re: the mini budget up-date
There is no higher in the Orders of Chivalry that the son of Satan has Des , it consists of the Sovereign and 25 knights Companions. So he is one of 25 , anyone hoping to get such will have to wait for someone dying to leave a vacancy. So think of him when you next have a dirty knight out . Hope King Charles doesn’t fall for his smooth talk JS
PS Most of those who hold are the Royal Family themselves. Maybe Andrews was taken off him ? So was a spare ?
Anyhow someone might know more. JS

Re: the mini budget up-date
Be thankful that Corbyn is no longer leader of the Labour party as he would be the next PM if a general election was called. That is how much of a balls up the Tories have made since 2010.
Why is it Tony Blair is always mentioned when the Tory government make a mess of things they blame Blair. Funny how he won 3 general elections on the bounce.
Unless the Tories get there act sorted it is being forecast that in the next general election they will likely be the Thrid largest party in the commons .It is expected the LibDems will be the main opposition party.

If Starmer is so confident of a win, why is cobbling deals with the SNP and the Lib. DEMS?

Is he ? well you learn something every day.
Wise up there will be a change of government next general election. Even the US president while having an ice cream was supressing a laugh. If Truss is safe let her call a general election.

Re: the mini budget up-date
As said before all govs are in time booted out.
No matter how good they are the public get tired of them and want change.
John Howard was a classic example of that, the people threw out a good gov replacing it with one of the worst ever for this country
So beware of what you wish for.
The current situation, both UK and global is such that no matter who is in power they will struggle to fix it all.
Boris was popular and going well, but someone in power did not like him so plotted to get rid of him.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
