Tax cuts to the top end of town are not as bad as they sound.
Many of those on the high tax rate run the companies they provide the jobs.
The easiest way is a flat tax across the board.
It would encourage persons to work, how many times have we heard, 'no good doing the extra work as the tax takes most of it.'
The more money in the economy the better for all, it keeps the economy strong so producing more wealth.
Was not aware the VAT on utilities was only 5%, but even so I do not agree with any tax on such essentials.
The current situation of increasing interest rates to slow inflation will not work, it is nothing more than a blunt instrument, in fact it can add to inflation as the current rate is not from the usual source.
This lot has been brought about by the war in Ukraine and the insane rush to renewable energy with no backup systems to support it.
I agree we need taxes to run so many essential services, but we also need responsible govs who put the people who put them in power first and foremost.
