Re: Bad news tonight
I always drink beer as a pint in WA think the other is a glass dont know the sizes but the pint seems a bit on the small size to me so maybe the nearest they can get using metric ? The Alternative is a jug which is about 4 Australian pints I surmise, and usually bought when in a group, unless of course the service is bad and you tend to not like standing in a queue. You are likely to be called a pig if seen drinking from a jug directly, this only of course in refined company. JS

Re: Bad news tonight
John.
There are a few up the RSL who get a jug, saves on the leg work, but I notice that most get a taxi home.

Re: Bad news tonight
Yes in most of our clubs here you can get a jug.
But mostly it will be a pot here in Victoria.
Pints are there if you want one but it is mainly the tradies at the end of the day who have them.

Happy daze John in Oz.
