Round one
You will no doubt hear about this in UK in time.
The cruise ship Carnival Legend is due here in Port Melbourne Saturday morning, but she may be a tad late arriving.
On board this ship as she made her way around from Sydney to wherever were two Leabanese families.
From day one according to others on board they made a nuisance of themselves.
Moving young kids away from the pool so they could use it, abusing other passengers for what appears to be no good reason.
They were spoken to by security on a number of occasions but continued to carry on.
Then Wednesday evening it came to a head, smart phone footage taken, a full scale fight with security and some others.
They were eventually taken away and locked in their cabins.
Oz Police notified and the ship made a detour to the port of Eden on the NSW east coast, not a normal point of docking.
Here they will be taken by the police and charged.
Paddy Wagons are there to take 23 passengers to Canberra Airport for a flight to Melbourne.
No doubt then banned from all cruise ships of any companies.
Footage of this can be seen on the net care of u tube, just Google Carnival Legend/Brawl.

Re: Round one
I looked at the footage John, it was a right old set too, i see the Carnival security plus one crew member kicking the shite out of one of them, big brawl all round, they then stopped the person his mobile from filming. I definitely make the right decision , no cruises for me, kt

Re: Round one
I always equate these cheap cruises with Butlins Holiday Camps. Although they were more family oriented at Butlins. OK when the kids were young but ceased going as they grew out of. The cruises as such today is a great invitation to the yobboes of yesteryear where they think like gang related street gangs. Was only a matter of time before the scenes changed for the worse. Will get worse before it gets better. Prices will probably go up to try to keep the riff raff out, this will not work and will only put the cruise out of reach of the older and poorer. The yobboes will always find the money one way or another. JS

Re: Round one
Nothing wrong with Cruising if you choose your ship and Company and Itinerary wisely.
Never go on vessels that cater for Kids. Seniors only.
We have always had a great time on every cruise for the last 20 years.
We stay with Holland America now, we find their ships are just right, just medium size, Not Fun Boats, a little elegance, and excellent value.
I would never sail with Carnival, P&O, or the Wotsits of the Seas.
