Worlds Largest Cruise Ship.
This monster did her sea trials yesterday, who would want to go on something like this. With 6000 passengers by the time you waited in the queue to go ashore it would be time to come back aboard.

I just hope they do not have an Italian Captain.
Brian.
Still think they should be sent to Syria to house the `Refugees.`

Re: Worlds Largest Cruise Ship.
I have only just noticed on the newspaper article to the left at the beginning, 175 years of the Cunard shipping line -in pictures. There is a good picture amongst them of gentlemen working out in the gym on the Franconia, shirt and tie, suit and flat cap,how funny is that.

Re: Worlds Largest Cruise Ship.
Jim as you know Kong and I enjoy a cruise, but there is a limit to want you can enjoy. This one is far too big and possibly because of the size may be restricted in where she can sail. Up to 2800 bloods is we find comfortable but once you go past that number it starts to get a bit crowded. She is not the kind of cruise ship I would go on.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Worlds Largest Cruise Ship.
Some will get out of their connection coach, walk across a concrete quay, walk up a covered gangway, into their inside cabins, spent two weeks in the restaurants and shops, walk down a covered gangway into their waiting coaches having never seen the sea

Re: Worlds Largest Cruise Ship.
Only 9,000 people on board ,
A Boiler room explosion, smoke in the accommodation, 5,000 blue rinse American Overweight fat matrons galloping around screaming and panicking blocking the stairs and the death toll would be phenomenal,
.
.
It was built in St Nazaire, once a bankrupt ship yard and closed down.
When Cunard wanted to build the Queen Mary 2 at Harland Wolfe in Belfast, Bliar refused to subsidise them to start the new build. So it closed and 4,000 men unemployed.
He sent the building to St. Nazaire, in his creeping to be a President of the European Union, They built a magnificent ship and the yard has Never stopped building ships ever since.
and Bliar Never became President of Europe
Cheers
Brian
