Re: QM2 Man Overboard??
Hi John
The wine is one bottle between two of us and half on Saturday and half on Sunday.
The survival suit is one of those Very big ones that can hold two people or two million wasps if they could get inside.
It was excellent for that job, would have cost me a fortune if I had to get the Pest Control people out.
It is big enough to fit Cappy and Mary together, the problem would be her peg leg could puncture it.
Cheers
Brian

not sure about Mary's wooden leg being responsible for deflation- maybe a certain part of Cappy's anatomy, fired with unrestrained passion might penetrate and puncture.

Re: QM2 Man Overboard??
John, I served on both the England and Canada as KP, both ships being allocated from Mann Island. I was on the England on her last cruise before being sold and renamed Ocean Monarch. On that trip, I can remember on the way to Puerto Rico, one of the chefs who was an alcoholic, walking down the alleyway at 0200 with a suitcase. When someone asked where he was going, he said he was going on deck to wait for the plane that was being sent for him to fly home. Obviously he ended up being secured in the hospital. With regard to your comments about falling standards. I can remember some of the tricks the stewards got up to on the Canada, bragging about what they did to passengers food if they didn't get a proper tip or gave them the runaround. However, when I was on both ships, the main galley was clean. With regard to the accommodation, I was in a cabin with 11 others, and believe me it was cramped and smelly! But I enjoyed myself whilst on board, then went on to serve with Esso before leaving in 1973.

Re: QM2 Man Overboard??
#57..Have never stopped in Stockton when passing through, as for performing with any Jack Tar leave that for others so inclined. Marys leg however if the same piece of oak was growing acorns last time I saw it, so had to get the chiropodist in. If cappy is using a compass similar to Ivans with his balls upside down, he will have sent his minders 25 miles inland instead of out to sea, so should have sent the SAS and not the SBS, so we are all safe. Cheers JS

Brian, with that suit you could mix with hehyou and others without being noticed, the mind boggles at what you may learn then

Happy daze John in Oz.
