Re: New Terminal
I am sure it will be a great benefit there hope all goes to plan!
On another Terminal (not Sea related) we are going to have a second Airport Terminal built here at Badgerys Creek ,apparently its going to be a whopper!
Don't know the cost but will also be a great addition to the Sydney Airport!
But could take 10 Years to complete!
They are going to have a very fast train from there too,on the lines of the fast Japenese Bullet that can go over 600 kmh WOW!!!
Cheers

Re: New Terminal
In the old days the Liners always called in at Plymouth to discharge passengers who were in a hurry to get to London,
Straight onto a train and in London a Day before they would have been.
Cheers
Brian
The New Cruise Terminal at White Bay Sydney , is a pain. Miles away out of town and charged us 40 dollars to get to York Street.
Cheers
Brian

Re: New Terminal
Yes Capt
I recall when I saw you at the Hotel and you told me about that!
It is a pity that the new Terminal is a wee bit far away, but then I think there was no other option, but may be incorrect@!
I know too the distance as when I went down to see my Courtney on the HMAS Anzac I had to catch a Train to the Cross and then a bus! Could also get a Bus from Central direct but still a bot of a pain!
Cheers

Re: New Terminal
Hello JS
Well almost but not quite JS
We just pay a flat $2.50 a day out that Covers Trains,Busses,Ferries,Light Rail, which is very good value.
The Train fare includes right out to the Metropolitan Boundries if I recall out to the South Kiama, to the north Newcastle ? to the West Lithgow and cannot go too far East as we will land in the Drink LOL
Cheers
My dear Wife who also gets a part pension even though she still works full time is also able to make use of this ,so it costs her $2.50 a day to work and back which is a 180km round trip!
Not bad at all.
