Re: Liverpool Cruise Terminal 2015.
Just glancing at Jims post(#1) reminds me of the proposed meet up for 2015. Although the venue has still to be agreed and I think that most of us would make the effort to attend wherever was decided, and although the last two occasions were held in Liverpool, I'm sure that those of us who are resident here would not hesitate to support any other geographical suggestions as to a meet up. I did point out some time ago that a historical visit by the Three Queens visit to the Landing Stage will be on 'Viente Cinco de Mayo' next year.( an evocative memorial date to those of us familiar with the pleasures to be had whilst patrolling that particular thoroughfare in BA). However, that day is a Monday, but there is perhaps, if the venue might be in Liverpool, another more suitable date-July 4th, which is a Saturday and the 175th anniversary, to the day, when the Britannic sailed from Liverpool for New York and Queen Mary 2 will be at the Landing stage to commemorate this historical event. Lets run this one up the mast and see who salutes.

Oops- finger slipped should have been an 'a' not a'c' Jim, well spotted. As for Kong, i doubt he'd have noticed, he being tossed about skippering a Fleetwood trawler in this foul weather trying to supplement his meagre pittance of a pension. P&W quiet- could only manage 6 pints of Kronenburg. Not got the channels yet. Hope your infection clears up and when you're up and about give me a call and maybe a pre Christmas jar.

#7 As I've mentioned in the past, most of us could manage the companionway descent into the House Of Pleasure that is Aphrodite's- coming back up after sampling the pleasures therein would be a different matter.

Jim.
Hope your getting better and will be fit for Christmas . I'm sure you will be putting forward some dates and locations when your firing on all cylinders, bearing in mind theres still 6 months or 7 months to go yet.
Cheers.
John.
