    In reply to John #10, yes Cunard like P&O, Princess, and a number of other companies in cluding Carnival shipping are part of the Carnival company. But each opperates as a single identity and has to make it's own profit. The wage agreemenst between each company may vary depending on who is setting the rate. With P&O and Princess the majority of general crew are Philiino, but there are a large number fo senior officesr of other nationalities. UK, Italy, Canada and USA apear to make up the majority of senior crew.
