    Default Inquiry

Would have thought the initial inquiry would have been in the port of occurence re. also cause of death. Then should be a further Inquiry in the country in which the ship is registered. Wouldnt hold my breath for hearing too much about it, not as headline catching as some. Is of interest however to the likes of us, and present serving seafarers. Cheers John Sabourn

    Default Observation

Ref. the untimely death of 5 of our brother seafarers. As they came from countrys supplying a cheap labour force it would also be interesting to know what renumeration their familys may or may not receive, in some cases these people may have been the only bread winner. I doubt very much whether they had recourse to a union who would have fought for their familys by supplying lawyers etc. This is probably another news media item which the press will be loathe to print that is if they ever had the initiative to report on. Cheers John Sabourn
