A well respected seafarer who no doubt put his family and livelihood first will be sadly missed by his fraternity of seafarers of years gone by. Nothing can bring your grandfather back but he will always be remembered by others , a man to be proud of. Always remember him as such. John Sabourn.

Hello everyone, thank you very much for all your kind comments about my Grandad. His funeral will take place on the 18th March at 13:30 pm at St Helens crematorium. Drinks and food will then be followed at the Seven Stars Eccleston. Thanks again everyone. If you can't make it, then raise a glass of rum for Denis (his favorite).
