Marie Bathelt
Was one of our stewardesses, had been with the company since almost the start, married to the VP of vessels Ops for the company.
She and i always got along despite her moaning about my accent.
She recently crossed the bar and today was her memorial service. My knee was too bad fo me to attend.
Fair winds and following seas Marie.

Re: Marie
I just feel s bad that I couldn't get to,the service. I have been doing better with my pain but this morning it was the worst I've had for several weeks.
I could barely get to the toilet standing, there was no way I could of got to the boat from the parking let alone walk into town on the island.
Feels like I let her down hence posting here and on another forum.

Re: Marie
Yes, sadly we see the list of family and friends slowly diminish.
As one guy said to me, 'funerals now I am retired has become almost like a hobby I go to so many'.
Condolences Shaun, may she now sail on peaceful waters.
