Ian Grant MacGregor
It is with much sadness that we report that Ian Grant MacGregor died on 8th August from Motor Neuron Disease.
Ian had been at sea with NZSCo as Refrig Engineer on various ships including Dorset, Pipiriki, Otaki and Haparangi.
In later years, he had worked for the Shipping Corp in Wellington and serviced Reefer Containers on the
Wellington Container Terminal.
A Scot and a character, you may well have come across him at some stage.
His funeral is at
Guardian Funeral Home in Johnsonville at 11 am
on Thursday 13th.
He was married to Kay for 45 years and had two sons, two daughters and two grandchildren.
