Condolences
Although I did not know or sail with Billy, it is always sad to lose a "shipmate", especially at such a young age. My sincere condolences and sympathy to his wife and family.

To all our shipmates R.I.P.
I never sail with him but every shipmate is a friend to me ,May his loved ones find some comfort in my few words WHEN THE LAST TRUMPET SHALL SOUND, THE SLEEPING SOULS ARE WAKEN LIKE THE MORNING SUN ACROSS THE WAVES YOU WILL BE CALLED TO THE LAST MUSTER TO RISE AND SHINE IN HAVEN.

Heartfelt thanks to you all for your sympathy and words of comfort. Billys final trip will take place on a date very dear to his heart, 23rd april, St. Georges Day. His ashes will be freed from a ferry on his beloved Mersey, his home port. The next day is our 24th wedding anniversary and the day after Billy will be 52.
The top sails shivered in the wind,
The ship she bound to sea,
But our hearts, our souls, our minds,
Are moored forever with thee.
Loved and longed for always,
Your wifey Net and daughter Neeve.
