Hi Jon

Saw your post and wondered if you could help.

My father sailed on the MVOtaki in the 1950's not sure of exact dates. His name is William Brennan and his rating was 'donkey man'. Sadly my father's memory is not what it was and I am trying to piece together his career with the NZSCO - The link to the Otaki is the only one I have got.

Would you have any advice on where else I can look?

Although I have never served in the Merchant Marine, I did qualify as an RO 1980 and now work for a government department.
