    Was trying to look up your R Number , but even with the onfo, there is no record that i can find at this time ?
    Possibly if you were still at Sae after 72 then that would be the reason!
    Could i have your DOB , that may narrow things down!

    Hi i was with BP Tankers in the 1960 as an Electrician after my apprentership with Cambell and isherwood ships British defender/ Clyde ranger/ British seafarer/British aviator/ British Queen

    joined the british defender in jarrow nov 59 .....paid off in falmouth sept 60 areally crap trip indian coast crap food aguy got cleaverd by the cook .....running screaming along the flying bridge.....but the best old man i ever sailed with...he was rescued from the altmark in the norwegian fiord..got a good payoff bought a motorbike ......the british queen arrived in mina al ahmadi .....the old man said to the pilot we are the biggest vessel in BP WHERE WILL YOU PUT US ......the pilot replied last week we had the georgios champion 84000 tons ....he biggest tanker in the world at that time i think we can manage you lol

    thanks for your reply i join British Defender in Falmouth dry dock around that time we then sailed to Grain half load then to Swansea to top up with engine oil then to kwinana W/A at that time bp where still building it

    My late Brother Greg was on the British Aviator as well, think he was either Second or Third Engineer!
