Good ship joined March 1970 did 3 trips paid off in August 1972. 20 months on the Crusader run Kiwi to Japan great crowd of lads trouble being trying to save up the money for the electronics in Japan at the same time partying in Kiwi. Went on the wagon in Kiwi to save the money for the electrics (Music Centre double tape deck, turntable and AM/FM radio with 2 speakers)nearly back fired on me Lads thought I'd turned

Apologies for going off thread but I see you live in Peterhead. A good friend of mine from the 70's , now living in Oz, has the same surname as yourself. He came from North Shields where his father, who came from Peterhead, had a wholesale fish business. A long shot I know but just wondering.
