Hello I am trying to find my grandfather. I am aware of some information and have a DISCHARGE A Number which I have presented above. I found this information on national archives. If anybody could assist me further I would be extremely grateful.

. I am trying to trace my grandad I am aware he was a military seaman and believe he was born in 1931 as I have a marriage certificate of his in 1959 which shows he was 28 years of age. I have looked up records and i have managed to find the attached information but this appears to be all. Many thanks for your help.

Would like to know if she believes this is him or just of the same name,
Many do find records of a person with the same name and put 2 and 2 together.

If this is a definite, will save trawling through birth records etc.

Will hope he may possibly still be alive but, will look at death records next,
also could he have remarried etc?

That Keith is him OK.
So i am now looking at the CRS10 Record Link for Becky, which hopefully will hold all his Sea Time Records plus if lucky a Pic of when he joined!

I worked with a Ray Baldacchino in Sydney in the building industry many years ago, do you think your grandfather may have jumped ship in Aus.?

Certainly, the Baldacchino family / surname name is more wide spread globally than I would
have initially thought.

There are quite a Few of that Name (Surname that is) listed at the Archives!
But we have the correct one and are looking at more Links if possible
