When were you on the Edi?
Very good mate of mine, Mick Falla, was a chef on there in late 50's early 60's.

Hi John, I was on the Edinburgh Castle around 1964 for maybe 10 months.
Maybe you could advise me? How can I see a copy of my old discharge book. I would love to see the dates of my Merchant Navy career and the positions (ranks) of my career. Thanks. Rod

    Hi Rod
Your Seamans Pouch will have limited info on your Service, you will need your CRS10 to get a full Record which will include your Ships Ports etc.
Then possibly you may need to get the Crew List for that Ship, from Canadian University Archives, they (the Crew Lists) hold a wealth of info as well, that where i and many on site got ours from!
    Cheers
