    Vernon, I hope that discharge number is a misprint. Pendennis Castle with that number??

    Sorry Chris but we have had a number of 'odd members' of late.

    Hi I was on the pendennis castle in 76 when we had a big engine room fire in Durban if I remember rightly.

    John the new discharge numbers and books with the prefix UK were being issued from about 1972 the R.M.S. Pendennis Castle sailed on her last voyage in April 1976 so to me it is more than probable that it is not a misprint.

    I got new book issued 8/3/73 and they still used same number as old one beginning with R901.......
