    hello william a good set of stag line ships there ...i guess you would know brian williams stag line bosun ...out of shields although from the south originally......a good friend of mine well known and respected in south shields ....sadly passed away about three years ago now..what i would call a proper old time seaman and a big character ..regards cappy

    I cannot say I know Brian but I am sure I have sailed with him. Quite a few Bosuns stayed long time with Stag Line. 83 and memory starting to fade a bit now

    ##guess the time line is about right william .....is it true when the stag line ships came up the tyne the starboard side was always freshly painted ...so she looked good in the stag offices in north shields lol regards
