    Hi Ray,
I was with you on the Caledonia and the Penzance, 2nd Mate, when the Pool Fisher Mayday came in 37 years ago on Saturday/Sunday.
Good to see you are still with us, so many have shot through these past years.
Good Trips those. a few characters amongst them.
Enjoy your stay on the site,
    Catch you later.
    Cheers
    Brian

Hi Brian, that was quick I only joined this morning. Yes the Penzance was a very happy sociable little ship and I very much enjoyed my time there. I eventually did 20 years at sea and then went into Marconi sales management so carried on travelling with a bit more comfort. IStill think a lot about the people I sailed with and check facebook etc to see if anybody is there. I live in Poole now wi h my wife Sue and have two teenagers Sarah and Chris. lovely to hear from you. Bye for now.

Ray, nice part of the world Poole, always stay there when in UK as my ex sea buddy lives in Canford Heath. A pint at the Jolly Sailor always goes down well ! Was or is the East Ham Marconi office still there ? Regards Brian W.
