    Hi

Yes Whitco Marine Services was set up by Salen Shipping Sweden as it Uk managers.A series of Wasa vessels were built in Spain at the Seville shipyards.I stood by the building of Spanish Wasa and did the maiden voyage after which I went into the London office. This was the only non reefer vessel I sailed in.

    Hi Chris.
Welcome to the site, great line up of Port Line ships there, you must have spent many years down-under, I used to see many on the NZ coast in the 50s and 60s, quite a few on here sailed with the Port Line. If you go up to the Forums and click on then scroll down you will come to Shipping lines, many old posts on there.
    Cheers Des
