Hi Mike welcome. See you were on the British Enterprise B.U.E. ships. Just about the time they were disintergrating. I think the Directors when they folded up took various ships as their back pay or whatever one would call it. I joined the British Magnus in 1988/1989 one of the ex BUE directors took it and started on his own I believe. He went further into off shore vessels and before I left the UK had brought in 3 ex U.S. vessels which he had the first one converted in Sunderland. Think they are now known as Veesea offshore or were if have not changed their company title. I stood by and took the first conversion out called if remember correctly the Veesea Topaz. There was also someone on here not so long back who was also ex BUE before they went legs up, had the same name as one of the Directors cant remember at the moment. He had also been on the Stena Seaspread but at a different time as was on there picking up some of the remains off the sea bottom re the Falklands war, however you might know him from BUE days. All the best JWS
