My first ship. Royal Mail lines. MV Escalante.
My last Ship. Federal Steam Navigation Company MV Manapuori.
I spent around 15 years at on various ships mainly Port line and New Zealand shipping company ( Federal Steam) ie my love of New Zealand. 1958- 1972.

Notes:

I now live in New Zealand. I was at the Vindictarix Sharpness Mar- May 1958. and spent the next 15 years at sea and never regretted it.
I now drive the Welliington cable car and love it.

G'day Dan. Is that the same cable car the went up to Kelburn? Got my first drivers license when I was on the Port Dunedin in 1950. The examiner had me stop on some hills that should have had cable cars.

G'day Dan, which ships with NZSC?

Been on that cable car, but you can walk up around the side almost to get to the top. There we were expecting something like maybe the Table Mountain one and we got yours!!!!!

But we had some very enjoyable days there.
