Yes it's not the same ship John. I was on the original Island and Pacific ships which were used in the Love Boat TV show.

Didn't see many of the Series ,Stefan.
Though in one, episode .Briefly glimpsed , thought I recognised, (A real Capt.) The very popular Philiip Jackson ,emerging from the accommodation ,and walking away along the Deck.
Would He have been in Command,on Any of your voyages?
    Cheers.

Years ago I sailed with a sparkie who had been on that love boat, no chance of remembering his name though.

    Hi Evan,
Finally catching up with replies! With Princess I served mainly with Captain John King, Captain Roger Knight, Captain Mike Moulin, Captain Ian Tomkins and Captain David Lumb. There were others, but the names escape me. There are some excellent former P&O and Princess Groups on Facebook. The main one I'm involved with is Princess Cruises Crew Reunion - No Passengers. It has 1400+ members and there are literally thousands of photos on there, (many of them from my collection) and lots of great videos. It is especially for Princess (and P&O) crew members who worked on the ships in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Ships covered: Pacific Princess, Island Princess, Dawn Princess, Sun Princess, Fair Princess, Sky Princess, Star Princess, Crown Princess, Sea Princess, Royal Princess and Regal Princess (all the originals not the recent imposters )

I wouldn't worry John, after a night in the PIG or the Mess most sparkies couldn't remember their names either!
