Welcome P.Mitra. Knew 2 persons in Bank line the time you mention. A Donald Young went right through from apprentice to master from about 1955 to about 1980. Died on the deck of a supply boat up the Persian gulf after the Falklands war, where he was employed as a navigator on one of the vessels in the fleet. Cause of death heart failure. His elder brother still alive. Also a Norman Hutchinson 2nd Engineer, think he was a permit second would maybe have been there about 1960. Cheers JS
