    Hi Des, thank you for your post, I was on the M.V. Limerick 27/08/1962 for five mouths on the Australia run, like you say we just missed each other it would have been nice to have been in contact with a old ship mate after all this time, I was a young 16 year old galley boy, i have fond memory's of that ship.     I was on the Sappho Aug 1960 hit went to Rotterdam and then Waterford. A little coaster registered in Bristol I was on deck. Same boat ?? John phillips

    Signature in discharge book looks like R Parry, ---don't think Taff or red head
