Welcome to site Des. When were you on Antrim? I did two trips 1971-72. Great ship to work on. Murray and Luck captains and Horsborough C/E.

Des, was on Adelaide Steam's Manoora's sister ship Manunda Sydney-Fremantle late 1948 taken to Fremantle hospital with malaria. Did two trips up the west coast on WA State Shipping's Koolinda '48/'49 and back to Sydney when the Manunda coincided at Fremantle.

We've been here since 1987, Des, We're just about rusted on. We've probably rubbed shoulders from time to time.
    Cheers, Richard

    Hi Des.
Welcome to the site. Looks like you must have shipped out on every Iron boat, I have a mate that I haven't seen for a few years lives up the central coast who sailed on them, Don Jenkins, I think he was down below. I lived in Mt Riverview for 20 years, been down in Cooma for five.
I sailed with the Union Co out of NZ for about ten years; knew quite a few blokes on the Aussie coast.
Hope you enjoy your stay on site.
    Cheers Des.
