    Hi Charlie, welcome, amongst other Port Boats, I was on some that you have sailed on, good feeders being in
    catering I made sure I got my fill, did 2nd and 3rd trips of the Port Victor, March 1950 to March 1951 after being
    converted from HMS "Nairana" Port Macquarie H/T 1951 & 1954. Fgn 1955. Port Montreal, H/T 1955. Port Wellington. H/T 1956.

    hi charlie i go for a beer every tues with a port line engineer grumpy old bugger he is ........port sydney wasthere a port nicholson are two of his ships i think ...late 50s early 60s he from north shields name of gerard brown senior or junior 2nd engineer.......he has asbestiosis ....ses in bad weather in the port sydney the asbestos came down like confetti.........regards cappy
