    Hi. Sorry to hear about Brian. I sailed with Brian on the M.V. IXIA in 1979 it was my first job after sea school in Gravesend. I sailed again with him on the M.V. BEGONIA in 1980. Both Stagline vessels.

    ###brian was a friend of mine in shields a top seaman and respected bosun......also known as cockney brian......a big man.....much thought of in shieldswent to sea all his life ...and a company man for stag line ....sad item of news.......it will be over 2 years ago now..regards cappy
