I was on the Empress of Scotland when you were there, just after the 1955 strike, on deck.
and again on the Emp of England. I preferred the Scotland to the new England, chatty but happy.
    Cheers
    Brian.

Hi Dennis, It seems you served on the England at the same time as I did. 1956-2001. I walked off the ship in Gladstone Dock in 2001. A short time later moved to Bromley Kent, and worked in London until a permanent moved to Canada in 1967. I remember the GOOD OLD DAYS on the ship, but I guessing that most of my former shipmates have gone , I was just a young TIKE compared to the others. Regards John Yates (formerly Johnthewriter)
