    Hi...I was trainee Sparks with Dougie Owen (who made models of the ships he sailed on).. Kirkness, Narvik twice, Amsterdam...can remember how strange it all was this being the first time I had been away from home...so many mistakes made! Trust you had a good time in the M.N. you sailed on so many ships...I left after 3 years.

    Dear John
    I was on board OROTAVA BRIDGE same time as you and your family Dec 71 thro Jun 72.
    I was 4th Engineer
    I have picture of you and some others in the lifeboat doing a test run.
    Other crew names on the Orotava during that period come to mind:-
    C/O MacAdam, 2/O Crook, 3/O Beveridge, C/E Brinkley, 2/E Scott, 3/E Griffiths, 5/E Badham, Lecky Musty?
