Hi David I was on the Halia in 1969/1970 also on the Hemitrochus 1969/1970 was a catering/galley boy, do you know where these ships sailed during these 2 years I remember going to Saigon and Singapore I was to young to note all the places we went .
I can remember purchasing a dug out canoe and keeping it on board also had a grass monkey but not sure if that was on the Aulica.

The Hemitrochus was at first an Eagle Oil Tanker named the San Emiliano before Shell took them over.

    Hi David

I was on the Fort providence 84/85. From what I remember a very good trip. Great ports, people and no equipment failures either - a rarity. I was employed by either Quadrant Marine or INRCO at the time - Rita Roth was the boss who used to work for KH.

I sailed on virtually all those C.P vessels you listed and in the same time period as you, most likely we met or at least crossed paths. I started as deck cadet in 67 and ended up in 89 as Mate.
