    Hi Phil

I wish I could return to those days! I have travelled as a passenger on the QE2 (twice), the QM2 and the Queen Victoria. Now stuck in lockdown and thankful that Covid didn't happen when we were at sea.
    Cheers to you too! Pam

    Hi Pam.
Hope you are not i the Western Suburbs, hopefully we will keep clear down here in Cooma, we have our police checking the cars coming to the snow.
Loved the old Sydney when doing the Tasman run with Union Steam. I also worked on the South Steyne when she was a floating restaurant in Darling harbour, did all the maintenance, afraid i wouldn't touch the place now.
    Cheers Des

Pam, down here in Mexico we know exactly what you ae going through, we had 12 straight weeks of it last year.
Just hang in there. NSW will recover from it.

    Hi Phil

So many years ago! I moved to Bermuda after leaving the QE2, and I am now living in Sydney.

    All the best, Pam

    Hi Des

I live in Pyrmont, a few minutes from Darling Harbour and remember the South Steyne well.

Have just returned from a Christmas and NY cruise around NZ, then Tasmania, Melbourne arriving back in Sydney early January. I miss working on the ships.

    Have a great 2023, Pam
