    Hi William,
Just joined but I remember you well, I was the Junior Assistant Purser and joined in November 1962 left when the Hubert was transferred to Australasia Line. Captain was Commodore Jackson Whayman, Purser was Alfie Boyce, seem to remember the bosun was Joe Cavannagh.
    Was 18 when I joined

    Hi William, Welcome,
I sailed with you on the final voyage of the Georgic Aug to Nov 1955. To OZ with Emmigrants, £10 Poms, via Cape Town and then to Malaya with Australian Troops and Viet Nam for the Foreign Legion to Algiers and Marseilles. then I took her to the breakers on December 12 1955.
A very Interesting Voyage was that . Remember big Jossie Peters.?
I was on Deck, AB/QM in those days,
Also did the Empress of France, Emp of Britain and the Corrales at different times.
    Cheers
    Brian.

William welcome to the site. I see you were on the Windsor in 1963, same time as I was, what was your position then? I was officers steward.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
