Hi Cappy.
I think after one kidney transplant he said he was going to go back to rugby there was a bit of a to do about it but he was persuaded not to.
Great player great winger, may he rest in that great rugby heaven along with other greats of the game.

morning des .....the game is a hard game .....there are no bones about that .....there are few and far between prima donnas.......the risk of injury is high......but it is true competition in its field great team skills and a great camerarderie.....young charlie is 18 he is off to munster this week end in the great britain ireland cup.........he lives for the game and has a spartan excistense......he is living his dream like we did going to sea......my youth has long gone but i am living another alongside charlie.....it gives me a better interest than i would have had without the rugby....and of course gives me a chance to be proud granda............and enjoy my retirement.......regards cappy

There was a report on the radio this morning that Jonah Lomu was in a bit of financial trouble at the time of his death. Will keep you informed if anything further develops, regards Peter in NZ.
